SEO Joondalup

SEO in Joondalup, built for the way the northern suburbs search

Someone in Currambine searching for a physio, a plumber or a course sees a map pack drawn around Joondalup, not the Perth CBD. We help northern suburbs businesses win that search, from the city centre up the corridor to Yanchep.

One city centre,
and a corridor
that keeps growing.

Joondalup is two search markets at once. The city centre draws people in for the hospital, the university, Lakeside and the professional services around them. Further north, new suburbs keep filling in, and the people moving into them are searching for every trade and service a new home needs, often for the first time.
The two behave differently in Google, so we plan them separately.

Three parts of the catchment, three different
jobs

THE CITY CENTRE

Joondalup, Edgewater, Currambine

Busy map packs for health, professional services and retail. Reviews and a complete profile decide who gets the call.

THE COAST

Hillarys to Burns Beach

Hospitality, tourism and home services along the coast. Photos, hours and reviews carry more weight, because many searches happen on the way there.

THE CORRIDOR

Wanneroo to Yanchep

Newer suburbs where fewer businesses have done the work yet. Good service-area setup and suburb detail can win ground here faster.

Two search markets

The centre and the corridor, side by side

The Joondalup centre
The northern corridor
Who is searching
Workers, students, patients and visitors coming into the centre
New households from Wanneroo up to Yanchep
What they search for
Clinics, professional services, food, training, retail
Trades, home services, childcare, fitness, anything "near me"
What usually wins
A storefront profile, strong reviews, a clear service page
Honest service areas, suburb detail, reviews from nearby jobs
Ranking levers

What moves local rankings in Joondalup

In the northern suburbs, distance does more of the work than most owners expect. Someone searching in Clarkson sees different businesses from someone searching the same words in Hillarys.

The levers we work, in the order they usually pay:

+
where your profile says you are, and whether that is honest, because proximity cannot be faked
+
reviews from customers in the suburbs you want, mentioning the job and the area in their own words
+
one strong page for the Joondalup catchment before any single-suburb pages
+
photos of real work in the area, added over time rather than all at once
+
links and mentions from local sources, such as suppliers, associations and community groups

Done in that order, a business with a smaller budget can hold its own against a bigger competitor sitting further away.

CLIENT RESULTS

Proof from the northern suburbs

Two of the businesses below work out of the northern suburbs, and one of them now has a page built for exactly this catchment.

Impact Dents is a mobile service, so in September we built them a page for Joondalup and the northern suburbs rather than eighty thin suburb pages. ETA Training runs its main venue in Wangara, and we ran their SEO until September 2026.

We also run SEO for Rest-A-Sured Security, a Wangara security installer, and rebuilt their Joondalup and Wanneroo pages in September.

The profile

Shopfront in the centre, or on the road across the north

If customers come to you

Clinics, studios, training rooms and shops around the city centre should run a storefront profile with the real address. Categories, hours, parking and accessibility details matter more here, because people are deciding where to drive to.

If you go to them

Trades and mobile services based in Wangara, Landsdale or anywhere up the corridor should hide the address and set honest service areas. Setting a service area further than you actually travel does not help you rank there, and it can put the profile at risk.

Less handover.

More aligned growth.

Work directly with
the founder who does your SEO.

We are based in Perth, not in Joondalup, and we will not pretend otherwise. Harvie Williams, one of our two founders, does the SEO work on your site himself, with no account manager in between. Most of the work runs on calls and shared documents, so being down the freeway is not a barrier.
How we run it

How a Joondalup engagement runs

The first cycle is diagnostic and corrective: the profile, the pages, where you sit in the map pack across the suburbs you care about, and anything actively hurting you. After that, each 4-week cycle builds on the last, and you see what moved in your own Search Console, Analytics and Google Business Profile.

$1,000 inc GST
Where our SEO starts, per 4 week cycle, quoted to scope. We bill every 4 weeks rather than monthly.
testimonials

What clients say

"The Enkindle Marketing & Management team have been amazing for my business. I was previously trying to do my google ads and advertising and I wasn't seeing any results. As soon as Kobi and Harviee took over I was seeing instant results. They explained how they strategise their advertising campaigns in easy to understand terms and they get results. Would 100% recommend this team to anyone."

"We have been working with Harvie and Kobi from Enkindle Marketing for about 12 months now and they have been doing an amazing job on the SEO, Google Ads and website development/marketing for my business Fridgy. The proof is in the results and over time it has allowed us to expand our partnership by increasing the services that they provide! If you are looking for marketing experts, give Enkindle a call and have a chat with the lads, because I'm sure you will be impressed."

Questions

What Joondalup businesses ask about SEO.

Do you have an office in Joondalup?+
No. We are based in Perth and work with businesses across the northern suburbs through calls and shared documents. We would rather be honest about that than rent a virtual office, which is exactly the tactic we tell clients to avoid on their own Google Business Profile.
My business is in Wangara. Can I rank for Joondalup searches?+
Often, yes, if you travel to customers. Set your profile up as a service area business covering the suburbs you genuinely reach, build a page with real detail about work in the Joondalup area, and collect reviews from customers there. If customers have to come to you, the map pack will favour businesses closer to the searcher, so the organic results and your Joondalup page carry more of the load.
Is it worth targeting Joondalup separately from Perth?+
For most northern suburbs businesses, yes. Someone searching in Joondalup is shown results near them, so a page written for all of Perth competes with businesses in the city and south of the river as well. A page built for the Joondalup catchment only has to beat the businesses your customers would actually use.
Which Joondalup businesses get the most from local SEO?+
Businesses whose customers search with a place in mind: clinics and health services around the city centre, trades and home services up the corridor, training providers, and shops and hospitality near Lakeside and the coast. If most of your work comes from repeat customers or referrals, SEO may matter less, and we will say so.
What does SEO cost for a Joondalup business?+
We custom quote every engagement. $1,000 including GST every 4 weeks is the lowest we go, and it is set for a local Perth or WA business targeting local terms, which is where most Joondalup businesses sit. The price rises with the number of pages, how competitive your searches are and how much content you want each cycle.
