QuestionsGoogle Ads questions, answered directly by the founders
What does Google Ads management from Enkindle Group include?+
We typically cover account strategy and campaign planning, keyword and search intent research, ad copy development, and search campaign setup and optimisation. We also handle landing page alignment, budget allocation, conversion tracking, and ongoing testing and refinement. The exact scope depends on your account and where it currently sits, so we build it around your business, not a fixed package.
How much does Google Ads management cost?+
It depends on the size of your account, your industry, competition for the keywords involved, and how much work the existing campaign structure needs. Rather than quote a flat number, we start with a conversation about your goals and current spend so any recommendation we make is grounded in your actual account, not a generic price list.
Get in touch and we can talk through what that looks like for your business. What makes Enkindle Group different from other Google Ads agencies in Perth?+
We handle Google Ads directly ourselves, not through layers of account management. That keeps our strategy close to execution, so campaign decisions stay tied to the commercial goals behind your spend rather than vanity metrics.
Is Enkindle Group a Google Partner agency?+
No. We are not a Google Partner, we do not hold the badge and we do not claim it. If Partner status matters to you, ask any agency to show you theirs rather than take a line of website copy for it. What we would rather be judged on is the account itself: how it is structured, whether the conversion data feeding it is clean, and whether the person managing it is reading performance against your revenue.
How long does it take to see results from Google Ads?+
A new campaign generally clears its learning phase in 7 to 14 days, and we do not change targets during it. We want three or more conversion cycles, usually four or more weeks, before we set or move a target ROAS. Traffic arrives on day one. A trustworthy read on cost per lead takes about a month, and anyone promising a reliable number sooner is reading noise.
Does Enkindle Group only manage Google Ads, or other channels too?+
We run Google Ads alongside
SEO, Meta Ads, email and SMS marketing, web design and development, and broader growth partner support. Paid search tends to perform best when it is connected to the rest of the growth system rather than run in isolation, so we can work across channels or focus on Google Ads specifically, depending on what you need. What is the minimum ad budget worth starting with?+
The honest answer is set by the platform, not by us. Smart bidding needs roughly 30 conversions per campaign per 30 days before it stabilises, and we want three or more conversion cycles before a target ROAS is worth setting. Work backwards from your realistic cost per lead to find the budget that clears that bar. If your budget cannot, we would rather structure a simpler manual account than take a fee for managing something the algorithm cannot learn from.
Who actually manages my Google Ads account?+
Kobi Martin, co-founder of Enkindle Group. Paid media is his lane and he does the work himself. There is no account manager relaying instructions to a media buyer you never meet, and no junior learning on your budget. You get one of two founders, and the same person on the call is the person in the account.
What does the free Google Ads account and campaign audit include?+
Two layers. The public layer runs whether or not you grant access, and covers landing page speed and Core Web Vitals, tracking presence, conversion and user experience gaps, message match between your ads and your pages, and search indexability. The account layer, with read-only access, covers conversion tracking health including double counting and orphaned actions, campaign structure, genuine wasted spend, bid strategy fit, negative keyword hygiene, missing assets and whether observational audience signals exist. Every finding is severity scored and delivered as one branded link.
Do I have to give you access to my Google Ads account for the audit?+
No. Access unlocks the account layer, but the public layer runs regardless and often finds the more expensive problem, because a broken landing page wastes money no matter how well the campaign is built. If you do grant access, it is read-only. We do not change a bid, a budget, a keyword or a tag in an account we do not manage, not even an obvious fix.
Do you run Google Shopping ads for Perth retailers?+
Yes. With Shopping and Performance Max the feed is the campaign, and the product title is the single biggest lever, so the first pass is almost always feed work rather than bid work. We group asset groups by product category rather than by audience, exclude brand terms from Performance Max, and run a dedicated brand Search campaign alongside so that Performance Max is not quietly taking credit for people who already knew your name.
Do you manage Performance Max campaigns?+
Yes, with a specific discipline. Performance Max cannibalises Search when it is left alone, so we defend Search deliberately: we read Performance Max search term insights, find converting overlap, and promote the high performers to exact match keywords in a standard Search campaign, which outranks Performance Max on shared queries. We also apply campaign level negatives, and we sweep placements weekly so your budget is not funding junk mobile apps and low quality YouTube placements.
Can you take over an existing Google Ads account rather than starting again?+
Usually yes, and usually we should. A rebuild throws away the conversion history smart bidding depends on, and resetting a proven winner into the learning phase is a real cost. The first pass on an inherited account is a full audit against our documented house method, then tracking repair, then structure. We add alongside rather than replace wherever the existing build is working.
Do you set up conversion tracking, or do we need someone else for that?+
We set it up, and we treat it as the gate rather than an afterthought. One primary valued conversion per goal, secondaries kept secondary so nothing double counts, values assigned so the bidding is optimising for money rather than for form fills, and valued call conversions of 60 seconds or longer for phone driven trades. Dirty or unverified tracking stops a launch. Bidding is only ever as good as the signal it is fed.
Is Google Ads the same thing as AdWords?+
Yes. Google renamed AdWords to Google Ads in 2018, and plenty of Perth business owners still search for AdWords management. It is the same platform. If you have been quoted for AdWords management, you have been quoted for Google Ads management.
Can you build a custom landing page for the campaign?+
Yes, and we build them ourselves rather than sending you off to a page builder. Harvie Williams builds every Enkindle site, so a landing page for a Google Ads campaign is designed, written and built in-house and then handed straight to the campaign. That matters because the page is usually where the money leaks. You can have the keywords, the bids and the ad copy right and still lose the click to a homepage that answers a different question. A campaign-specific page lets us match the headline to the search, cut the navigation that pulls people away, put the phone number and the form where the thumb already is, and load it fast on a real phone. It also makes the reporting honest, because one page maps to one campaign instead of everything landing on the homepage. If the page is the constraint we will say so before you spend more on media.
We already run our own ads. Can we just get advice instead?+
Yes. If you have someone capable in the account already, paying a management fee for us to duplicate their work makes no sense.
Google Ads consulting starts at one 45 minute call a month with Kobi and goes up from there, with your budget setting the cadence. We review your account and agree what to change, and the actions are written up afterwards for your person to execute. You keep the account, the logins and the control. From $200 including GST, billed every 4 weeks, and it costs less than management because you are doing the work.
