Free SEO Audit

Most Perth SEO audits are not
really audits
at all.

Send us your website address and we will crawl your site ourselves, pull your real visibility data, and send you a proper SEO audit as a branded PDF.
No scanner output. No obligation. No sales call to unlock it. You do not have to give us access to anything, and it is usually with you within 2 to 3 business days.
Most audits offered in Perth are one of two things. A one page PDF an automated tool produced in nine seconds, or a free strategy session that is really a sales call with a slide deck. This is neither.
It is a written report, a prioritised list of the issues we find, each one severity scored as critical, a warning or an opportunity, so you can see in order what is costing you and what is merely untidy.

How this works, in four numbers

Four numbers that cover the whole arrangement: how long you wait, what you get back, what we need from you to do it, and what businesses say once they have read one.
The turnaround is what we hold ourselves to, and the rating is our public Google score. Nothing here is a projection, an industry average, or a number rounded in our favour.

What you give us, and what
you get back

What we need from you is your website address, and an email address to send the report to. That is it.
Three things we do not need, because each one is a reason people hesitate:
+
No access to your website. The audit is strictly read only, from the outside
+
No logins and no analytics permissions. Not Google Analytics, not Search Console, not your ad account
+
No discovery call before you get it. No credit card, no trial, nothing to cancel
+
What you get back is a branded PDF written for a business owner rather than for an SEO
+
Every finding scored critical, warning or opportunity, with a priority summary at the back telling you which ones to deal with first
+
Plainly: we will tell you what is wrong and why it is costing you, but we will not hand over the implementation plan. That is the part we get paid for
It is free because it works out for us more often than it does not. Enough businesses come back six weeks or six months later wanting the problems fixed that we do not need to hold the findings hostage. No bait and switch, no credit card, no unlock the full version. The whole report is the free thing.

What you actually receive,
page by page.

The deliverable is a single branded PDF, emailed to you as a reply to your enquiry and signed by Harvie personally.
Every finding is written in plain English. Where something is technical, we explain what it means for your business rather than quoting you a status code and moving on.
Inside the report:
a cover page with your critical, warning and opportunity counts, which is the whole report in one glance
a contents page, then up to nine analysis sections
one callout at the top naming the single highest impact problem on your site. If you read nothing else, you read that
a priority issue summary at the back, in three tables, one per severity level
a closing page with our direct contact details
written by hand
No account manager.
No junior with a tool.
Just the person reading your site.

Every audit is written by
Harvie Williams.

Harvie is our founder, and he owns SEO, organic search and web at Enkindle Group. He writes every one of these audits himself, which means there is no account manager between you and the person reading your site, and no junior running a tool and pasting the output into a template. That is also the honest limit on capacity. We write these one at a time, by hand, and there are only so many in a week.

The audit is the diagnosis. Here is what the organic work has done for clients who went ahead. Fridgy Australia grew organic sessions 536% year on year and organic purchases 285%. ETA Training lifted organic key events 157%. Greenerscapes grew organic clicks 282%. Full context on all of these is on our results page.

What the audit looks at

These are the sections the audit genuinely produces, in the order they appear in the report. Not every section appears in every audit. If you are a national business with no shopfront, we leave the local section out rather than padding the report with a page that does not apply to you.
overview and site background, including the single highest impact finding, called out at the top
technical SEO: crawlability, indexation, robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals, redirect chains and site health, plus a check against the major AI crawlers
on-page SEO and metadata: titles, meta descriptions, H1s and heading structure, page by page, and where two pages are cannibalising each other
content SEO: word counts, text to HTML ratio, thin pages, and the gap between what you sell and what you have actually written a page about
schema and structured data: which types are present, which are missing, which are quietly failing, and whether your theme is injecting duplicates
local SEO and your Google Business Profile, checked live by hand on the day we write your report, against whoever holds the map pack
off-page authority and search visibility: where you rank, whether those terms have real demand in Perth, referring domains and authority score
AI and generative engine optimisation: your llms.txt if you have one, and whether your content is structured in a way that can be cited
platform notes: an honest account of what Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress, Webflow or Kentico can and cannot actually do
priority issue summary: three tables at the back, one per severity level, which is where the cover counts come from

What it is not

We would rather tell you this now than have you open the PDF and feel misled.
01
It is not a fix list. It tells you what is wrong and why it matters, not how to implement the fix. There is a practical reason for that as well as a commercial one. The same problem is fixed one way on Shopify, another on WordPress, another again on Webflow or Wix, so the how changes platform to platform, and written out properly it would run to pages and pages before any of it was usable. We do the fixes as part of an ongoing partnership with our clients. That is the paid engagement.
02
It does not use your analytics. Everything is externally observable, which is why you hand over no logins, and an honest limit on what we can see.
03
It is not instant. Ranking and site audit data takes 24 to 36 hours to settle, and we will not write a report on half populated numbers.
04
It is not fully manual. The crawl is automated and the visibility data comes from Semrush. The analysis, the prioritisation and the live checks are ours.
05
It is not a guarantee that every finding is correct. If something does not match what you know about your own site, tell us and we will recheck it.
06
There will be a follow up. We email you the report and usually ring you a few days later. We are not going to claim otherwise and then ring you anyway.
Questions

What Perth businesses ask before they send us their site.

Is the SEO audit really free, or is there a catch?+
It is really free. No card, no trial, no locked sections. The catch, if you want to call it one, is that we will email you the report and then usually ring you a few days later to see whether you want the problems fixed. If you do not, that is the end of it. We write these because enough people come back that it pays for itself, not because we need a lead magnet.
How long does it take to get my audit?+
Usually within 2 to 3 business days of your enquiry. We cannot honestly go faster than that. The ranking and site audit data we use needs 24 to 36 hours to populate before it is worth reading, and we will not write a report on half loaded numbers. Occasionally we need an extra day, because holding off gives us ranking data we can actually stand behind. If that happens we will email you and tell you before the deadline passes, rather than going quiet.
What does the report look like?+
A branded PDF. Cover page with your critical, warning and opportunity counts, a contents page, up to nine analysis sections, the priority issue summary in three tables, and a closing page with our contact details. Sections that do not apply to your business are left out rather than padded. It is designed to be read by a business owner, not by an SEO.
Do you need access to my Google Analytics or Search Console?+
No, and we do not ask for it. Everything in the audit is externally observable, the same information a competitor or a search engine can see. That means you are not handing logins to a stranger, and it also means there is a real limit on what we can tell you. We cannot see your conversion rate or your traffic sources from outside. If you want that layer, it is part of a paid engagement where you do grant access.
Will the audit tell me how to fix the problems?+
It tells you what is wrong, how serious it is, and why it matters to your business. It does not give you the implementation steps. That is deliberate. The fix is the paid work, and we would be pretending otherwise if we claimed a free report included it. What you get is a clear, ordered list of what is broken, which is enough to make a decision, brief your developer, or ask us for a quote.
Is this a technical SEO audit?+
Technical SEO is one section of it, and a substantial one. Crawlability, indexation, sitemaps, canonicals, redirects, site health errors and structured data all get covered. But if we only sent you the technical section we would be leaving out the thing that is most often the actual problem for a Perth service business, which is that there is no page on the site targeting what people are searching for. So the audit covers technical, on-page, content, local, authority and AI search. If you specifically want a deeper technical pass, say so in the enquiry and we will weight it that way.
Do you only audit Perth businesses?+
Perth and WA is where most of our clients are and where we know the search landscape best, so that is who this page is written for. We will audit a business anywhere in Australia. What we will not do is audit a site we cannot crawl, and a small number of sites block the crawler outright. If yours is one of them we will email you and tell you rather than going quiet.
My site is on Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress, Webflow or Kentico. Does that matter?+
It matters a lot, and the report has a section for it. Every platform has real constraints on what you can change. Some make canonical tags awkward, some inject duplicate schema you cannot remove, some will not let you touch a robots.txt. We would rather tell you a fix is difficult on your platform than recommend something you will spend a fortnight failing to do.
Is every finding guaranteed to be correct?+
No, and we are not going to claim it is. We check what we can, and we verify your Google Business Profile live by hand every time. Automated crawling still occasionally gets something wrong, and it has happened to us. If something in your report does not match what you know about your own site, reply and tell us. We will recheck it and correct the record. That is a better deal than a guarantee we could not honour anyway.
What happens after I get the report?+
We email it to you as a reply on the same thread, so it is easy to find. You read it. If you have questions we are happy to walk you through it on the phone, and we will usually offer that. If you want the problems fixed, we will scope it and quote it. If you want to fix them yourself or hand them to your developer, the report is yours to use however you like.
What does it cost if I want you to fix the problems?+
SEO retainers start at $1,000 including GST per 4-week cycle. Because we bill every 4 weeks rather than monthly, that is 13 payments across a year, not 12, and we would rather you knew that from a webpage than discovered it on invoice thirteen. $1,000 is the minimum, not the standard price, and everything above it is quoted on the size of the site and whether you are competing locally or nationally. There is more detail on our SEO pricing page.
