ECOMMERCE MARKETING AGENCY

An ecommerce marketing agency that builds your store, ranks it and emails your customers

We work with Australian online stores on the parts that compound: the store itself, the organic search that keeps working after you stop paying, and the email and SMS programme that turns a first order into a second one. We work mainly in Shopify, and all of it is measured against orders and revenue, not impressions.

Ecommerce marketing
should move the numbers
in your Shopify dashboard.

Sessions are useful only when they are the right sessions.
Rankings are useful only when the page that ranks is a page that sells.
So we scope the work backwards from the money. Which product lines carry the margin, and which collections have real search demand behind them. What the store currently does with a visitor who is ready to buy, and what it does with the group who are not ready yet. Then we decide where the effort goes, and we tell you what we are not going to do as clearly as what we are.
CLIENT RESULTS

Proof this works

Collection pages carry more commercial weight than blog posts

Signal
Blog post
Collection page
The search behind it
how to choose a product
which store to buy it from
What the visitor gets
an answer to a question
the answer, plus the products ready to add to a cart
Where it sits in the buying process
earlier, before the decision is made
once they have decided what they want
How quickly it pays off
a slow thing to pay off
sits closer to the money
Blog content still has a job, mostly earlier in the buying process and increasingly as the material AI search engines quote back to people. It just should not be the first thing you build.

Built around the pages that
carry the purchase.

Collection and product pages sit closest to the money on an online store, so that is where the work starts.
That means focusing on:
titles that match how people actually search
intros that earn the position without pushing products below the fold
internal links from the pages that already carry authority
fit, size, materials and what is in the box, answered on the page
how long delivery takes, and what happens if it arrives wrong
copy written by someone who knows the product, not the manufacturer

Three workstreams, run by the same people

Most stores have all three running somewhere, rarely joined up.
01

The store

Collections built as landing pages, product pages rewritten to answer the objection, and a theme that loads properly on a phone.
SEE ECOMMERCE WEB DESIGN
02

The search

Commercial terms mapped to the collections that sell, product structured data that Google can read, and indexing that is not fragmented by filters.

03

The lifecycle

Automated flows and campaigns in Klaviyo, built to turn a first order into a second one.

The store is where the work starts

Collections built as landing pages, product pages rewritten to answer the objection, and a theme that loads properly on a phone.

Because the same people run all three workstreams:

+
when a keyword opportunity needs a new collection page, we build the page
+
when a product page is not converting the traffic we won, we change it that week
+
when paid is scaling, the flows behind it already catch the visitors who do not buy first time
+
there is no handover problem, and no account manager relaying it back and forth

We work mainly in Shopify, and in a lot of cases we improve the theme you already have rather than rebuild it.

The Spooled Out Australia online store built by Enkindle, shown on a laptop and a phone

We build the store, run the search and run the email, so the channels are not fighting each other

There is no handover problem here, because the same people build the site, run the search work and run the lifecycle programme.

When
What we do
A keyword opportunity needs a new collection page
We build the page
A product page is not converting the traffic we won
We change the page that week
Paid is scaling
The flows behind it are already in place to catch the visitors who do not buy the first time

Enkindle is founder-led, so you deal directly with the people doing the work rather than an account manager relaying it back and forth.

Why repeat purchase
matters commercially

Paid acquisition costs whatever the auction says it costs, and that price is set by your competition rather than by you.
So before anyone tells you to increase budget, we want to know:
+
your repeat purchase rate
+
the average gap between a first and second order
+
whether anything is actually in place to bring them back
+
the profit on the second and third order, not only the first
+
what happens after the order confirmation
+
whether the improvement is in the ad account at all
If a customer comes back twice a year, you can pay a price for that first order
which a competitor who never emails their list cannot pay.
Not sure whether your store, your search or your email is costing you the orders?

What a lifecycle programme can include

Paid channels bill you per customer. Email and SMS bill you per list, which is why lifecycle tends to carry strong margin:
a welcome sequence that does the selling job your best salesperson would do in store
an abandoned cart series that handles the real objection instead of reflexively discounting
an abandoned checkout series for the same buyer one step further along
a post purchase sequence that sets up the second order while the box is still unopened
a winback for lapsed buyers
a browse abandonment flow for the people who looked and left without adding anything
a calendar that does not send your most engaged buyers and your barely engaged subscribers the same message at the same frequency
built in Klaviyo, written by us, and nothing goes live until you have signed it off

Who this is for

This tends to suit online stores where:
01
the store sells in Australia, usually on Shopify
02
the ads are already profitable and you want the orders that arrive without a click charge
03
traffic already arrives and does not turn into orders
04
collections and product pages were never built to sell
05
the email list is not producing repeat orders
06
three suppliers run three channels and never speak to each other
Questions

Ecommerce questions store owners ask.

Do I need SEO if my ads are already profitable?+
Profitable ads are a good position to start from, not a reason to stop.
Measure
Ads
Search work
How the cost moves
Moves with the competition in the auction
Builds pages you keep, and can lower your blended acquisition cost
How you are billed
You pay again for every visit
Those visits are not billed per click
My store is on Shopify. Can you work with my existing theme?+
Yes. We work mainly in Shopify, and in a lot of cases we improve the theme you already have rather than rebuild it.
How will I know if my theme is holding me back?+
We will tell you plainly if the theme is holding you back on speed, mobile layout or how collections and product pages are structured, and what a rebuild would fix. If a rebuild is not justified, we will say so.
How long before I see results from ecommerce SEO?+
It depends on what is broken.
The work
How long
Technical fixes, product page rewrites and internal linking
Weeks, because those pages already exist and are already indexed
New collection pages competing for commercial terms
A few months to settle into position
Should I be doing SMS as well as email, or will I annoy my customers?+
SMS works when you keep it short and reserve it for messages that genuinely warrant interrupting someone, such as an order update, a cart they left minutes ago, or a genuine deadline.
When does SMS stop working?+
SMS stops working the moment it becomes a second newsletter. We keep the two channels on one plan so your customers are not receiving the same message twice on the same afternoon.
Can you run my email if another agency runs my ads?+
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. We will still tell you what we see in the store and the ad results, because your lifecycle work depends on both.
What do you need from me if another agency runs my ads?+
We need visibility of the promotional calendar so your campaigns and their campaigns are not contradicting each other, and access to your Shopify and Klaviyo data.
What will it cost me to get started?+
SEO starts from $1,000 including GST per 4-week cycle, billed every 4 weeks. Store builds, migrations and lifecycle work are quoted on scope once we have seen what is actually involved. You get the full quote before anything starts, and no work happens outside what you have approved.

Online retail rarely turns on one channel. Acquisition, the store itself and repeat purchase all move together.

These are the areas e-commerce brands most often combine.
