Rest-A-Sured Security: putting a Perth security installer on page one of Google
Rest-A-Sured Security is a Western Australian owned security company based in Wangara, installing CCTV, alarms, access control and monitoring since 1998. When we started on their SEO in July 2026, almost every search that names a service and Perth had them on page four or five. This page is what has changed since.

The situation
Rest-A-Sured had a site full of content and almost no visibility where it counted. In our first full baseline, the 90 days to 10/08/2026, the searches that name a service and Perth averaged position 46.6, around page five, and had brought in one click.
The site was also leaking. Dozens of blog posts sent readers off to Wikipedia instead of to Rest-A-Sured's own service pages, several pages were competing for the same searches, and calls from the website could not be counted because the tracking had never fired.
One limit to be upfront about. Google Search Console only holds data for this site from 25/05/2026, so there is no year-on-year comparison yet. The numbers on this page compare the eight weeks before our work started with the latest eight weeks.

What we did
We worked in the order that moves rankings for a local trade business: stop the leaks, make each service page the clear answer for its search, then build the pages Google had nothing to rank.
The main pieces of work, July to October 2026:

Took 99 Wikipedia links out of 61 blog posts and pointed 125 internal links at the service pages instead.

Added service schema to 12 service pages and wrote alt text for 149 images.

Retired a thin CCTV page Google preferred over the real one, and merged pages that were competing for the same searches.

Built and rebuilt the pages the business sells from: access control, alarm servicing, data cabling, intercoms and suburb pages.

Fixed the call, email and form tracking so every enquiry from the site is counted.

Redesigned the homepage and site header in October 2026, with a quote form at the top of the page.

Nobody scrolls to page four. That is where these searches started.

Source and method. Google Search Console for restasured.com.au, Australia only, read on 06/11/2026. Before is 25/05 to 19/07/2026, the first eight weeks Google holds data for and the eight weeks before our work started. Now is 10/09 to 04/11/2026. Perth security searches leave out the business name and job searches. Page one means an average position of ten or better. Every term in the second table was shown at least 30 times in both periods. Google changed how Search Console counts deep results in mid September 2026, which removed many page four and five impressions and can flatter average positions, so we lead with page one and top 20 counts and with terms that now sit on page one or two. The ANPR page was shown more often even with those deep impressions removed.
Enquiries
We have not put an enquiry number on this page. Form tracking on the site was rebuilt in September 2026, so there is no clean before figure, and we would sooner leave a number out than publish one we cannot stand behind.
What we can say is that every call click, email click and form on the site is now counted, and enquiries are starting to arrive from new places. In late October an intercom enquiry came from someone who found Rest-A-Sured through ChatGPT.
What it shows
These are early numbers on a small base, and we are not going to dress them up. Most of the searches Rest-A-Sured now holds on page one are specific ones, made a few dozen times a month each, and clicks are still modest. For a security installer one commercial job is worth a lot, so being the answer for strata security, ANPR cameras and access control in Perth is the point.
The work is not finished. access control perth has moved from page three to page two, and the big CCTV searches are still well back, with cctv installation perth at about position 29. Those are next.
