Free SEO checker: see what Google sees
on your website, in seconds

Free SEO checker

Check your homepage now

Type in your website address. In a few seconds you will see whether Google can index your homepage, how your title and description read, whether your Google Business Profile is linked, and whether AI search tools are allowed in. Mobile speed follows from Google PageSpeed.

What the free SEO check looks at

Indexing

Whether your homepage answers normally, and whether a noindex tag, header or robots.txt rule keeps Google out.

Title and description

What Google is likely to show as your headline and the text under it, and whether either is missing or too long.

Main heading

Whether the page has one clear H1 that says what it is about.

Mobile speed

Your Google PageSpeed mobile score and how long the main content takes to appear.

Google Business Profile

Whether your homepage links to your Business Profile or Google Maps listing.

AI search access

Whether robots.txt lets the crawlers behind ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude read your site.

Sitemap and HTTPS

Whether there is an XML sitemap for Google to find your pages, and whether the site loads securely.

A check, not an audit

This checker reads one page in a few seconds. It is good at spotting the obvious problems. It cannot tell you which problem is costing you the most.

For that, ask for the free Perth Search Gap Report. We crawl your site ourselves, pull your real visibility data, check your Google Business Profile by hand and send you a written report with every issue severity scored, usually within 2 to 3 business days.

Free SEO check questions

Is the SEO check really free?

Yes. There is no account, no card and nothing to unlock.

Does it change anything on my site?

No. It reads your homepage, robots.txt and sitemap from the outside, and nothing else. It does not crawl the rest of your site.

Why does a check say it could not run?

Some sites use security that blocks automated checkers. That usually does not affect Google, but it stops us reading the page. The full report is done by hand, so it gets around this.

Why does my speed score change between runs?

The score comes from Google PageSpeed. When Google has too little real-visitor data for a site, it runs a single lab test instead, and lab scores move from run to run.

What happens to my details if I ask for the report?

We use them to send your report and follow up about it. Our privacy policy has the detail.
