No Matter What Gift Box: seven corporate pages rebuilt in a day

No Matter What Gift Box is a Perth business making bespoke gift boxes around Western Australian makers, mostly for corporate orders. It is run by Harvie's mum, so this one is family. Its seven corporate gifting pages were sitting on stock theme sections. We rebuilt all seven on Shopify as one custom template, and it went live on 26/08/2026, the day it was briefed.

Corporate gifting pages rebuilt, all running from one shared template, so a layout change is made once and reaches every page.
12
Custom Shopify sections designed and built for the template, replacing 22 stock theme sections.

Brief, five design rounds, testing and publish, all on 26/08/2026.

The situation

Corporate gifting is the main part of the business, and seven pages carry it: a Perth hub, plus pages for employee gifts, client gifts, branded boxes, custom boxes, sustainable gifts and Australia wide orders. All seven shared one template made of 22 stock sections from the theme.
The pages worked, but they did not flow. Every page had two main headings. The same scrolling banner appeared three times. Section widths jumped around as you scrolled. The enquiry form sat seventh on the page, before any explanation of how an order works. The quote page that every button pointed to was close to empty.
Nobody asked us for this job. We run the search work for the business, and our own weekly check pointed at the pages. People were finding them and not doing much once they arrived.

What needed fixing

The aim was pages that look like the rest of the brand, read in a sensible order and make it easy to ask for a quote. The page addresses could not change, because Google already knew them.
Before
After
Two main headings on every page
One main heading per page, and real section headings on 10 of 11 sections, up from 2.
The same scrolling banner three times
Once, matching the home page.
Four selling points hidden in tabs
A four column grid with all four visible at once.
An enquiry form before any proof
A designed enquiry section with the minimum order, delivery and timing beside the form.
Testimonials stacked in a block 1,522 pixels tall
A carousel with the photo beside the words, 645 pixels tall.
A quote page of 234 words and no section headings
465 words: an intro, four steps, a proper heading on the form and proof under it.

What we built

Twelve custom sections on one shared template. Among them: a dark band of four plain facts, an occasions grid, the enquiry form, a testimonial carousel, a Western Australian makers rail, a numbered how it works strip, a two column FAQ and a closing band with two ways in.

The brand rules came from the store's own home page: Lato, uppercase headings with wide spacing, black on white, square corners, and colour only from the product photography. The photos are the business's own.

Every word on the seven pages sits in named fields on the page itself, so the owner edits copy in the normal Shopify page editor and never touches the layout. The form posts to the store's existing contact address, so enquiries land where they always did.
One template, seven pages
A layout change is one edit and it reaches all seven pages. The words stay separate, in fields the owner can change herself.

A page can be found in Google and still lose the enquiry. The fix was the page, not more traffic.

How it ran

The rebuild was done on a copy of the theme, never the live one, and checked there before it was published. The previous theme is still in the store and can be put back in one step.
Stage
Detail
Brief
All seven corporate pages and the quote page, with no address changes.
Round one
Headings and markup fixed, quote page rewritten.
Rounds two to five
The twelve sections designed and built, then refined against the home page.
Testing
Seven pages at six screen widths from 390 to 1,728 pixels, with no sideways scrolling on any.
Phone pass
Every accordion opened, the carousel advanced and the form typed into on all seven pages. Two faults found and fixed.
Published
26/08/2026, the same day.
The two faults the phone pass caught were small and real. Form fields were set at 15 pixels, which makes an iPhone zoom the page when you tap one. The carousel dots were 2 pixels tall, too small to tap.
Source and method. Our build notes and test records from 26/08/2026, and the live pages of nomatterwhat.com.au read on 08/10/2026. No Matter What Gift Box is owned by Harvie's mother. The logo, brand kit and first store design were done in 2025 with a freelance designer; this page covers the 2026 rebuild of the corporate pages only. This is a design and build case study. There are no traffic or enquiry figures on this page because there is no result to claim yet.

What made it work

Using the brand that was already there. The home page had a clear look, so the new sections were built to its rules instead of inventing new ones.
Keeping words and layout apart. The owner can change any sentence on any of the seven pages herself, and a design change never means editing seven pages by hand.
Testing it the way a customer uses it. Looking at a page is not the same as tapping through it on a phone, and the two faults we found only showed up by doing that.
